you can turn bare paddocks into forests

Third Sunday of the month, November, January and February 8.30 to 10.30am. March through to October, 9.30 to 11.30am.

Come and join 30-50 like-minded people each month for our major planting efforts. Each volunteer day we aim to plant 500-800 trees and shrubs in two hours to help extend the remnants of rainforest and riparian vegetation that once flourished on non-tidal areas of Kooragang Wetlands. When the work is done, there is a BBQ lunch (or light refreshment in summer) to enjoy while chatting with fellow volunteers and staff.

Please bring along any special food or drink requirements, we’ll supply tools, plants, know how, wide open spaces, iced water and BBQ lunch (or morning tea in summer.)

To volunteer, please call us on 49649308 by the Thursday before each particular Sunday so we can cater for tools and food.
